Bubba Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 14, 2026

Bubba is a baby tracking app for parents and caregivers. This policy explains what information Bubba collects, how it's used, and what choices you have. "Bubba," "we," and "us" mean Aram Abramian.

The short version

1. Information you give us

Account. Your name, email address, and how you sign in (Apple, Google, or email and password). If you use Sign in with Apple with Hide My Email, we only get Apple's relay address. We never see your Apple or Google password.

Your baby's profile. Name, birth date or due date, sex, and feeding method. You can also add birth weight, gestational age at birth, your pediatrician's name, and blood type.

The care log. Feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping, medications, notes, growth measurements, vaccines, and temperatures, plus when each happened and who logged it.

Setup questions. Some answers from the setup questions, like birth date and feeding method, become part of your baby's profile. Bubba uses the rest on your device to set up your plan, and they aren't sent to us.

Family sharing. When you invite a co-parent or caregiver, we store the invite, the account that accepts it, the role you chose, and who logged each entry.

Community. Your display name, posts, replies, and likes; groups you create or join; people you block; and reports you file. If you post anonymously, other parents see "Anonymous Parent," but we can still see which account wrote the post so we can moderate it. If you share a snapshot in a private group, it contains your baby's age (like "7 weeks," never a birth date) and the summary lines you see before you send.

Support. If you contact us, we keep the conversation and anything you include.

2. Information collected automatically

Bubba has no advertising or analytics SDKs. We don't collect your location, your contacts, or your device's advertising identifier.

The services that run Bubba do receive basic technical information they need to work, like your IP address, device model, iOS version, app version, and language:

Subscriptions. Apple handles payment, and we never receive your card details. We do receive Apple's signed record of your subscription: which plan, when it started, renewed, or ended, and any refund. That tells us whether Bubba should be unlocked for you and your family.

3. What stays on your iPhone

These features run on your device and don't send your data to us:

4. How we use information

We use your information to:

We don't sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We don't use your data or your baby's to train AI models, whether ours or anyone else's.

5. Who we share it with

People you choose.

Service providers. These companies process data for us only to run Bubba:

Provider What they do for Bubba
Google Firebase Sign-in, database, and server functions
Superwall Subscription screens and subscription status
Apple Sign in with Apple, payments, and the App Store
Google Google Sign-In, if you use it

Legal and safety. We share information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, or when it's needed to protect a child, you, other people, or Bubba. We report content that exploits or endangers children to the appropriate authorities.

Business transfer. If Bubba is sold or merged, your information may move to the new owner. We'll tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Your baby's health information

Bubba's log is health information about a child, and we treat it as sensitive. We collect it only when you choose to enter it, and only to provide the features you use. We don't sell it, use it for ads, or share it beyond what section 5 describes. You can delete single entries at any time, or all of them by deleting your account.

Bubba is a consumer app, not a healthcare provider, so HIPAA doesn't apply to it. This policy does. If your state has a consumer health data law (such as Washington, Nevada, or Connecticut), the rights in section 9 apply to this information, including withdrawing consent by deleting it.

7. Children

Bubba is for adults, and you must be 18 or older to create an account. Bubba holds information that parents and caregivers enter about their babies. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has made an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

8. How long we keep it, and how to delete it

We keep your information while your account is open.

Settings → Delete account permanently deletes:

It also revokes Bubba's access to your Sign in with Apple account.

If you logged entries in someone else's family, those entries stay in their log under the name they saw, but they're no longer linked to your account.

Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID settings.

Copies can remain in our providers' backups and logs for a short time before they're overwritten. We may also keep information longer when the law requires it or when we need it to resolve a dispute or enforce our Terms.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

You can edit and delete most information directly in Bubba. For anything else, email bubbasupport@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity, and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

If you're in the EEA or UK: we process your information to provide the service you signed up for, with your consent for health information, and for our legitimate interest in keeping Bubba secure. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Our database rules allow only you and the family members you invite to read your baby's data, and they block caregivers from health records. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise your information will never be accessed without permission. If a breach affects you, we'll notify you as the law requires.

11. Where your data is processed

Our providers store and process data in the United States and other countries. If you live outside the US, your information will be transferred there with the safeguards the law requires.

12. Permissions on your iPhone

Bubba asks for the microphone and speech recognition only for voice logging, and for notifications only for reminders. All three are optional, and you can change them anytime in iOS Settings.

13. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The effective date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
